Two kinds of writers. One treats the world as if it were fiction; the other treats fiction as if it were the world.
A writer's courage: to leave a blank page blank.
Words can't save you, but they can give you courage.
Words alone mean nothing, because they can do nothing.
The right words to express oneself can never be found in any dictionary.
Out of dumbness, out of confusion, arise the true words.
How long does one have to live before one can no longer be fooled by words?
How old must you be before words can no longer fool you?
